8/15/2023 0 Comments Bunger from bugsnax![]() ![]() In Bugsnax, I take on the role of a Muppet-like creature called a Grumpus. Worst of all, the gameplay itself feels unfinished. Even with a respectable run-time of around 12 hours, it tastes more like a fluffy appetizer than a rich, full meal. Trouble is that Bugsnax just isn’t all that satisfying as an adult. This time around we each have our own save files, and instead of me rushing into the room to take the controller and help them through a difficult level, instead I go to my 10 and 7-year-olds for tips - and vice versa. I’m not talking about playing the game with my kids, mind you. It’s also the first video game I’ve been able to play start to finish alongside my young children. So get ready to blast off in a rocket fuelled Starfield performance preview.Bugsnax, the latest game from Young Horses, is a physics-based adventure game packed with charming characters and clever, albeit simplistic, puzzles. We also compare the improvements over the previous showing, enhancements within the engine, and much more. The biggest question after the show(s) was: why is it 30fps on Xbox Series X and Series S and not 60fps? In this IGN Performance preview, we dive into the details shared by the team, the revealed PC minimum and recommended specifications, and how the Creation Engine 2 works, comparing the previous games to gauge some of the potential reasons why the team might have chosen 30fps. With Starfield being the center of the Xbox 2023 Showcase last week, Bethesda gave us a deep dive into one of the biggest games this generation. Run up to one (or both) and capture it with your net. If all goes well, your ketchup-sniffing Bunger should ram into the ketchup-covered Bunger, causing them both to become stunned. Paint a ketchup path from the Bunger you’re at now to the other Bunger. Paint it with Ketchup and return to the first Bunger near Wambus and Filbo. There’s a Bunger hanging out in this area. Head across the river from the Bunger you’re at and towards the back right corner, near the waterfall. In order to stun a Bunger you need to have it run into - well - another Bunger! Now it’s time to do the same thing with a Bunger. A countdown timer will start and you’ll need to run up to the Shishkabug and press Square to capture it with your net. He will hand you a net to use.Īs you walk down the steps, the Bunger will charge the Shishkabug, stunning it in the process and sending it flying. Quickly switch back to your trap and activate it to snag the second Shishkabug needed.Īfter you feed Wambus the two Shishkabugs you caught for him, he will ask you for one last favor. The Bunger will follow the ketchup trail you laid for it and ram the bush with the Shishkabug. Squirt some ketchup on the ground heading towards the bush with the Shishkabug in it. Look to your right and you’ll see a Bunger walking around. Set up your Snak Trap over the Shishkabug’s tracks and squirt the bush with ketchup from your Sauce Slinger. There’s another Bunger nearby, but this time it’s a little too far to smell the ketchup on the bush. The second Shishkabug is just to the left of this one, across the river.Īs you approach, it will flee into the bush on the left. ![]() ![]() Quickly deploy your trap to nab the Shishkabug. ![]() Once Bunger charges the bush, Shishkabug will pop out and run towards the other bush. Since there’s a Bunger nearby, switch to your Sauce Slinger and squirt ketchup on the bush that Shishkabug ran into, then quickly switch back to your Snak Trap. When approached, it will run into a bush and remain there until it’s forced out. Deploy your trap over the center of its track area. To capture it, you’ll need to scan it to see its tracks. ![]()
